power supply for TV01 aka CS968, and CR11s

After suffering through too many freezes and reboots, I finally decided to get another power supply for my TV01 android tv box from geekbuying. I had tried every rom available for this box but none of them solved the reboot problems for me. Seems like everyone on this forum says to replace the power supply as last resort. No problem, just hop on to amazon and get one, wrong, not that easy. I would have thought that a power supply with specs of 5vold 3 amp would have the same connector, NOT. At least most of the descriptions had a size specified for the connector. Could not find my micrometer, so had to use my trusty old scale in metric. With my old and bad eyes, I could get an approximate estimate on the dimensions. First power supply I ordered had the wrong connector, gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. Ok, using the specs of the wrong connector, I was able to find the correct power supply. However, the correct one, has a 90 degree connector instead of a straight one, but it does work. So, to make a long story short, if you need a new power supply for your TV01 aka CS968 then this power supply will work. It is a little heavier, which is good, than the one that shipped with the box. Btw, most of my reboots and freezing have stopped. Still have a few every now and then, but not as bad. Anyway, here is a link to the correct power supply that I purchased. It has the US prongs.
    MK818B, T428, ATV 1220, CS918S, TV01, S89H, R89, ADT-1, MK808B Plus, MINIX X8-H Plus, Tronsmart Orion R68

Please help me. I bought DC step DC converter. But I need help on connecting this . I opened the stock power supply and wanted yo use the casing.

OK now in the new unit it shows IN+ and IN- but the old one connected to N ,L. Now I want to remove the DC connection to insert it to the new board. Is it OK to connect any wire to IN+ and IN-. Or is there any conditions. Please see the attached picture.

                PS

I used a dlink PS that came with a barrel connector. just cut that off and spliced in a usb cable. Now, I found mine in one of my junk boxs. But , I see they have them on amazon and e bay. There a good quality PS. I use it on a overclocked cx919. While I was at it. I also tore off the cheapo aluminmum heat sink and replaced it with a fan off a old graphics card. The PS powers the fan too. Have had no reboots since then.
