    HDMI Signal lost on CX919

I dont know what happens, but I dont have HDMI signal when I connect CX919.
Till today everything works great. Did CX919 die or what?

OK so I assume you already troubleshooted the obvious like; wrong input (hdm1, hdm2 & so on). Proper connection and so forth.... If so perhaps something got corrupted from the last boot. The cx919 is quite sensitive & each build acts completely different than any other one build just a few months behind.

If you can't get signal after switching hdmi cables, inputs & tv then your next step before flashing it again is just patching it with a known working kernel to see if it boots correctly. If it doesn't then reflash is your last option.

HUGE CX-919 PROBLEM - no hdmi signal

I got the same issue...no HDMI signal at all anymore.
I got 2 CX-919 sticks..one i had flashed with finless 1.6b rom which worked fine at the time..after that I didn't touch it for a while but now that I power it up again after a few weeks it doesn't give me any HDMi signal anymore.
I also got a second CX-919 which I never tested up till now and it behaves exactly the same..no HDMi signal.

I have tried flashing this second one with several CX-919 ROMs from geekbuying and vondroid using RKBatchTool v1.7 :
      cx-919-rk3188-T-4.2-6210-20130926
      cx919-rk3188-4.2-6210-20131209
      [VonDroid.com]-cx919-4.2-6210_2013-06-12
of which none worked..only the last one ([VonDroid.com]-cx919-4.2-6210_2013-06-12) gave me a bit of a signal as it entered a boot loop in which it kept showing me the penguins.
Reflashing finless 1.6b now gives me a bootloop showing me a www.rikomagic.com logo in between.

Could someone please help me as I am at the end of my wits.
Why can this happen all of a sudden and what is the proper way to fix this and how can I avoid this from happening again? Could someone point me to the latest OFFICIAL stock CX-919 firmware? I'm at the point that I don't want anything fancy anymore..I just want something that will work.

      Thank you!

Keep your wits buddy because you will need it. My cx919 soft bricks itself on previous known working roms???? It becomes second nature for me to popup the case & short pins.

First of,,,, don't limit yourself to a perticular rom (finless, stock) or cx919 for that matter. You can flash your stick with everything under the sun as you are able to boot properly. What will limit your stick is whether you get your wifi chip or ethernet to work.

Any RK3188 could potentially work. I find that Neomode works better for my stick. Some do better with Finless.

Have you tried just patching a kernel???

My CX919 is dead! I cannot erase nand .... "erasing IDB failed"(cx919 is on maskrom).
Searching for some alternative metods for that ...

Uhmm! I have not run into this problem except one time when my cx919's nand failed to erase no matter what I did until I unplugged it & it bricked after that. Blue light would come on but it couldn't be recognized. Shorting pins didn't help either.

I just basically put it away for a couple of days broke out my old magnifying glass one afternoon & made sure I hit pins 7 & 8. It took several tries but it eventually successfully flashed again.
