MK908 1080p over wifi with Syno storage solution

Hi,

After trying overclock, XBMC with embeded and external player, config file tuning, NFS/FTP/SMB/UPNP etc I was stuck by getting my MK908 to properly get 1080p video from my Syno NAS working...

So I tried with Plex with server side on my Syno and android app on my MK908 and you know what ?

IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM !!!!

Let me know if you need found another way, but this one is working (for those who are looking for)

My solution is external wifi 300mb/s+overclocked kernel on old firmware. I am able to play multicast from my provider at 17mbit/s bitrate via IGMP and fullhd video from NAS with 34mb/s bitrate via smb.

my solution is to use anything other than xbmc, I use archos player. much slicker and plays everything I need it to. If it don't play a codec the it can pass it to another video player like mxplayer. with Archos player I can watch a 1080p (5320kbps) dolbydigital5.1 (plays in stereo) flawlessly.
