It is version 408 not 407 as the GB Nov rom.
It's really difficult if there is no change log.
Anyone that an test it and see if there are improvements.

It has a newer (compiled) kernel and a few different .so/modules; other than that I didn't find much different (without running)

      Kernel only (untouched): https://mega.co.nz/#!aJRgjIqZ!-D5sQv...4mx9gBdK2Of7So

Thanks, I ended up downloading from the first one. First impressions are that it feels faster and snappier. Cpu is still stuck at 1 ghz. Wifi display works out of the box with my nexus 5 but is a little laggy even though I'm connected to a lan adapter.

...not much different in the rom as far as I can tell; curious thing about the 1Ghz limit on your cpu.

I'm running it on an mk808 non-b. And i used system tuner to check the cpu frequency. Tried all governors but it doesn't scale.

what does your dvfs tree look like? If you don't mind checking and posting the output here I would appreciate it. Guide: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post143323

That kernel msg shows stock kernel in the 408 rom has DVFS disabled - that cpu probably isn't scaling at all. Thanks; the other isn't necessary unless you verify its output is different.

In fact, as well as having dvfs disabled, your speeds are not even being printed to the log. I first thought maybe one core was hotplugged, then I noticed BOTH show current speed = 0 ...that's not right.

...and in that dmesg output is GPU at 120 or 240? Or neither?

sorry cant verify it now. just flashed your kernel and the device boots up in recovery everytime.

...oh no. That sucks. Use it with the stock boot.img - the one in the package was corrupt. I just suffered the same fate.
