XBMC + SPDIF = Video jitter

Hi all!

Just joined the community but have been watching from the sidelines for a few weeks

I'm having issues getting digital audio from my X7 to my receiver (Harman Kardon AVR255). I've tried different ROM's and XBMC versions but the problem remains: Whenever I choose SPDIF audio output, the video playback will "jitter" every two seconds - audio is fine. If I change the audio to analog, then there are no problems at all (besides the fact that I can only have stereo)... I'm currently running the HardwareGuru ROM 03 but I had the same problem using Quickshot v2 and Beyond XBMC v3.3.

All I want is digital passthrough (either through HDMI or SPDIF) but I cannot seem to get the settings right I'm hoping this is just a simple quiestion for one of you experts, since I'm still learning

Found the solution myself after browsing the forum some more. It appears that I had to scroll using my airmouse, for the settings with passthrough to appear - for some reason clicking "down" on the remote won't go to the bottom of the options...
