mk809ii rebooting

    mk809ii rebooting

    hi i have tried 3 finless roms and every time the device will reboot randomly. All i am using is a usb mouse and i am using the power sipply for usb.
    Any ideaS?

    Don't overclock ( if you are ) ... use a good power supply that provides better power.

      Not overclocking jus tstandard. I use the standard psu i had. Could i try an ipad one ?

        It may work if it is a 10w-12w model actually made by Apple and not some cheap knockoff. Just be careful, there are a lot of fake ones out there.

        You do need one that will provide at leas a reliable 2A of power minimum... the problem is that most PSU's that come with these devices ( except perhaps the high end ones ) can not provide the power they claim. So even if you buy a cheap one marked as a 2a... it still may not be able to provide good enough power.

          My two MK908II from Tronsmart it always started up again, but when I put a good 4A power supply, everything went ok.

          NB: 2A for MK908II is not enough, sometime he exceed 2.8A.

            Yeah... but the MK908II is a RK3188 Quad core.... this is the MK908II which is a RK3066 dual core CPU

              MK908II doesn't exist with an RK3066. The device that you say is probably a MK808II. It is the same device with only the Processor that change.
