    Pioo M6 Battery

Hi, I have purchased a Pipo M6 and after flashing several firmwares have decided on Riley ROM 1.9. The only problem is (and it's not a fault of the firmware) I only get six hours of battery life. My old Pipo M1 used to give around 9.5. I am using 1.9 so I can set the screen to normal and I've switched off everything I can find. The M6 uses two batteries is it possible only one is connected/working. I realise it's a quad core with a higher red screen but others say how got the battery life is.(9 till 11 hours)
    Thanks.

Check in Settings > Battery. If "Mediaserver" is at the top of the list, then you have a common software problem that I can't remember how to fix.

Otherwise, you should be getting more than 10 hours of video playback on low brightness.

        Pipo M6 Battery

Hi, thanks for your reply. In "Settings/Battery" there is only the battery charge graph, In "Data usage" top of the list is "Media", when tapped displays " Download Manager, Media Storage, Downloads, DRM-Protected Content Storage, Background 462mb" and second is "com.swim.dodoro.derek.pang:10076" which when tapped displays "Boat Browser, Background 169mb". The first thing I do after flashing is restore with Titanium Backup, and I have no DRM content.
        Thanks for your help.

Flash without restoring. And then use Titanium Backup to remove things like Boat browser. Stock Android browser runs best on this hardware.

It may be caused by something you are restoring.

            Pipo M6 Battery

Just did a factory reset and downloaded nothing then just used the stock browser for an hour. The battery charge dropped by about 16%, I think either the wrong battery is fitted or one of thems gone duff.

I've had 2 pipo devices. Both the Polo M8HD and they are a joke. One had multiple faults with the touch digitizer. And one wouldn't charge.

I will never buy a Pipo product again.
The two Cube devices I had were fine but slow because of the NAND memory also used by Pipo.

FNF and Ramos are the way to go. Also I would keep away from Rockchip until the RK3288 is released.

For now, Intel Atom, Exynos, AMlogic M802, Snapdragon are the processors for tablets to go for.

The only RK3188 that was perfection was FNF ifive mini3 and that is due to eMMC memory.
