    USB sockets quality on MK808B

    Hi,

I've started to use Slackware ARM on my MK808B with custom built Linux kernel. The system is installed on USB2IDE hard drive. At the beginnig everything was fine but after 2 days ext4 failed with Journal aborted errors. After short investigation I found out that it is USB socket fault - its too loose and socket is running inside too much. Then the consequence is that USB connection has interrupts when socket moves.
Any of you guys had similar problem? Now I'm trying to find a solution because hardware is quite nice in use under Linux/X11.

    greetings

I suspect you will find a lot of variations in the quality of the cheaper chinese made tv sticks... more than one company makes MK808/B and most don't have any sort of quality control. In fact, just because it claims it's a MK808B... doesn't mean it is... just read through the thread about the clones/fakes to see what I'm talking about on that subject.
