What rom should I use with the CX-919 Quad Core RK3188?

    What I have is http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Out of the box I have USB wireless keyboard issues. It freezes constantly rendering it virtually unusable.

Currently I have the Finless 2.0 Kitkat 4.4 rom flashed. The wireless keyboard works just fine but when I click on downloads I get, "unfortunately the process android.process.media has stopped", so I'm unable to download xbmc's nightly build for an example. Also, Plex playback of media off a Synology NAS behaves much like my original wifi keyboard issue where I would experience constant freezing.

Any other rom recommendations I should try? Thanks.

    Try Neomode 1.9a

It works fine for me and for other folks with CX-919, check this thread

Hey thanks, I just tried it.

My wireless keyboard acts the same with the original rom where it would freeze every 5 seconds or so until I hit the tab key.

Wired ethernet doesn't work (I have a usb hub connected to it).

      How should I proceed? Thanks.

If your hub is usb3.0, that can be the culprit. When I tried a USB3.0 hub, my cx919 would also freeze. Try a USB2.0 hub. Mine is Rosewill 4-Port USB 2.0 powered RHUB-210.

Thanks in1. I just ordered it and will give it a shot... the hub I have is indeed 3.0. Oh well.

I'll report back here with any progress.

I forgot to mention I have the kernel3 installed for 1080p. Do you have any experience with it? I will be using this primarily as a media client for XBMC and Plex.

kernel3 worked okay for me, but I noticed some slight stuttering so I thought that my cx-919 is not powerful enough for 1080p, but your experience may be different. Anyway, my video is mostly 720p and 1080i so I decided to stay with the default kernel.

Did only experience the stuttering watching @ 1080p or was it across the board even at 720?

So I received the hub last night and made the connections. The wireless keyboard (Logitech K400r) still freezes. I also see a link light on the switch when I connect via wired ethernet, but when I try to turn ethernet on in settings it immediately reverts back to off.
