HDMI Surround sound RK3188?

I am wondering why can't we get surround sound working on the Ugoos UT1 and Minix x7 both will not play surround sound thru HDMI is there a fix? But the am logic mx will with out a problem

Minix X7 with Quickshot v2 rom and a libmedia version of XBMC (SPMC) (justXBMC) and others, will give you DD and DTS through HDMI.

Im using Minix X7 with Quickshot v2 via HDMI -> reciever and no 5.1 sound, only front and center.

Ive tried on XMBC and MX player

Settings - sound - device manager, last in the list, hdmi passthrough.. Må planer is working by default here, you need to make the same Settings in XBMC..

There is a bug, so its randomly working with HDMI, SPDIF suppose to be fine...need to try.
