Please help me decide
I'm trying to choose between two different tablets. One of them is a 9" Iconbit NetTAB Thor ZX for $200. Its the same as a Cube U39GT. The other one is a 8.9" PiPO Max-M7 Pro for $235. I've read reviews for both. They both have pros and cons. I'm hoping some of you have real world expirience with these. Any feedback helps!Tags: None

I really think you can't go wrong with either of those two.
I've owned a Cube tablet and it was very solid and stable. 900Supersport makes some great Cube ROM's...so there's plenty of Freaktab support (if the Cube firmware actually works with this OEM tablet).
The Pipo M7 Pro is one of my favorites in my collection of M7 Pro, M8 Pro, M6 Pro, U8 and M5...Pipo tablets. For 10.1", you have two choices...the M9 Pro or the M8HD (I have neither of these, though). The difference between them is the external case design. I can say that my current KitKat ROM for the M7 Pro is very stable for a test version of KitKat.
Don't bother with the 3G versions of either...since they don't work with US carriers. The radios don't have US frequencies.Randy

Thank you Randy! I posted this question on another forum (that I won't mention) and I got banned. I really appreciate your feedback.
Iconbit has firmware updates on their site. One nice thing is that their actually in English. I think the only bad thing I've read about the U39GT is the battery size.
I've read a lot of good things about Pipo. They seem to be one of the top Chinese brands for quality. I was leaning towards the M7 Pro, but then I found the Thor ZX for $35 less.
Both of these tablets seem to be well made and have a good amount of support. I've read a lot of good reviews for both. It's just tempting to get the bigger one for less. I just didn't know if Cube was as good as Pipo. I have had an Archos and an Idolian and had problems with both. I don't want that again.

Just wait until the sellers actually have them in stock before ordering M7T. People have been waiting for there pre orders to be shipped.
I have a ROM for it...but no feedback yet.
I haven't had much luck getting ROMs to work on these OEM versions lately...so I advise to get an already established and tested model. It's worth the extra 35 dollars.Randy

Yes, I got your PM's. I'm still catching up on a busy bunch of days.
Anyway, There's NO REASON to buy an M7T or U8T tablet in the United States because unless you are on T-Mobile, you can't use the 3G features...(and only compromised service on T-Mobile). The radio frequencies aren't available (I stand corrected if Pipo changed their modem frequencies, but I haven't heard that they have). Just buy the wifi only versions, here. Plus, Pipo hasn't even shipped them to the sellers yet. I'm sure the sellers are just as frustrated as the users are after posting pre-release offerings which have been delayed several times. Just a note of caution...I've noticed this a lot with new products out of China. Just wait until they are in stock before you order....unless you are willing to part with your money for a long time.Randy
