    Q7 / XT-Q7-V10 - Bluetooth pairing but not connecting

    Hi,

    I have the following board. It is the Q7 variant from what I've read.

    I am having problems getting my Rii bluetooth keyboard setup. I can get it paired with the Q7, but it just won't work. I do the paring by typing the number displayed by the Q7 into the keyboard and pressing enter. This works, so they can obviously communicate with each other during the pairing process.

    However, I cannot use the keyboard or mouse at all. :-(

    I also tried an Android phone with BluePutDroid installed. This time, although it said it says it is paired, it just wouldn't connect not matter what I tried? The phone says "paired by not connected" in its settings.

    I have the latest stock firmware I believe - kernel version dated Friday Dec 20 09:57:31 CST 2013

    Anyone any experience of this or how to resolve it?

    not sure have not tried the bluetooth but i have the exact box i will try to see if i can test but i have no device to do so with as of now hope you get it sorted out

        No, new firmware made no difference.

        Anyone else managed to connect a keyboard with bluetooth on the Q7?

          Just got a RII MWK02 BT keyboard, and have exactly the same results. It pairs, and I get as far as entering the code - which appears to work. But after that, nothing. The keyboard is intended for a T-R42 which I have on order, so I hope to have better luck with that.

          BTW I'm on the original stock firmware. I see there's a newer version specifically for Q7 released at the beginning of May. I'll give that a try when I have chance.

            Bluetooth Issue

            My Q7 has the same issue with Lewy's rom posted on 5/2/2014. It will paired and connected when device is less than a foot from box. Too bad that rom has yet to be upadted but I believe he is work on the next release.
            FYI: Just found a rom by veclinux ( http://vectorlinux.osuosl.org/vec7/a...Vector_RC3.zip ) and can't wait to try it.
