If you give me the kernel.img and boot.img for your device I will patch it for you to get rid of the video problem, It will only take me a few minutes

just take it from your ROM that you have flashed to your device that works. Or give me a link to a ROM that works for your device

it will stop the video from stuttering, that is the common problem with the processor it will not stop the box from crashing though. I am downloading the ROM now, it is up to you, you have got three options , just have the video fix or overclock the CPU or both

most of my movies are in 1080p and high bitrates, which causes the lags, I would greatly appreciate it if you put both modules for me, video fix and overlock processor, but if it is too much work for you, only the video fix its a wonderful help, thanks again!

I have just finished downloading the ROM, it does not have a separate kernel.img it is inside the boot.img it needs separating before I can do anything with it. It is getting late in the uk now so it will be tomorrow before I can do it but it should not be a problem, although you should be aware that rk3188 struggles with high bitrate 1080p it will be better, but not perfect

I already suspected, and a weak processor means, then I hope your help, I will be very grateful, good night!

Could you if its not much of a bother please apply the same patch to the v3.0 firmware as you did on the v2.0 firmware? The link to the X5II v3.0 firmware is http://www.mediafire.com/download/jf...j2301_0317.img

                          Thanks for this fix sam321.

I got jesurun mx that is x5ii clone and this firmware works with that device. I have been searching working rom for a long time.

Just installed this rom and it's working better than any other firmware. just trying 720p video using xbmc and its pretty good. Something happened and video turned to artifacts after opening xbmc menu while watching and i was unable to continue watching movie. xbmc needed to restart. I am watching video from usb stick. Need to test videos over ethernet and wlan another day.

Youtube works and hd video was smooth.

                          Rom has root access.

                              seems not working

Hi, i tried your rom patched, it seems that version uses cpuset which suppresses frequencies higher than 1.4GHz

At the result, there is only 1.2GHz

                              edit:

So, I opened up my box and I found that the chip was a rk3188t and fw v2, this explains a lot, damn I'm a bit sad..
