    Video dark scenes look bad with washed out colours on a B351

    Hello,

    I own a TR-42 clone v1.1 with factory firmware and it works pretty well, only thing is that low light scenes on films look very bad, with lack of dynamic range / colour accuracy.

    Tv shows like boardwalk empire with lots of low light scenes are hard to watch

    At first I thougth it was because the TV was poor quality (Toshiba 32W23) but it looks fine when I play video straight from the tv usb

    I use MX player but other players show same issue

    Regards
    Javier

    I had same issue on a sony tv and I had to go into the settings for that hdmi input and change options like rgb color and some I think res setting....was hard to find this option in the tv menu system but thank god my ty had these settings.

    hdmi->
    :color mode
    :hdmi input res

      Thank you,

      I found this post were they talk about it. Something to do with Hdmi range (normal vs full)

      Unfortunately my TV does not allow to change this setting, is there a way to change this Android?

      Regards
