    Tronsmart A928

    Hello all,

    is there anyone with this device who has a tip for a good combi of rom & kernel?

    I have tried endless combinations and finally found one which is 90% satisfying

    For anyone who is in the same search: currently I have the best results using Finless 2.0 Kitkat for CX-919 (in the cx subforum), combined with the 1080p kernel from that package. Atuntu 17700, but 1080p still has microstutters in the latest XBMC beta.

    Problem: the CPU is stuck at 1416 Mhz, can't overclock it. The a928 has a 3188T model, so it needs a specific kernel for OC, which I haven't found yet.

        Got this as my first android tv. I noticed that it stutters when playing 1080p, youtube in HD is pixelated, webcam doesn't function really well, playstore does not list google tv apps rather tablet apps.... and so on. But still, i enjoy using it.

        Finless, looking forward to try out your custom rom when it's out.

          hey there, i flashed the rom you mentioned but for some reason, my cpu clock is stuck at 1.2ghz. I ran antutu and i'm only getting 12000. is there a different kernel i should flash?

            My new ROM for this will be out tonight!
            All of these have the 3188T chip and thanks to D33 it's been unlocked!
            My new ROM will be KK which works very well.

                      Hey Peekeesh,

                      I used the kernel attached if you wish to try, but probably you'll want to wait for Bob's finless rom.

                            Does anybody on this forum have issues with the included rf remote getting stuck (example back button) when the airmouse has the mouse feature disabled only using the navigation buttons? Mine gets stuck on two separate units only when airmouse is disabled.
