    BXBMC working on Rikomagic MK902

    Hi Flumpster,

I have Beyond XBMC Beta 3.3 installed on my MK902, so far picture perfect image for HD (1080p), it works great. Only problem that sometimes it suddenly won't let me enter any option or addon on the main menu, I have to stop BXBMC from the 'Settings->Apps->Force Stop' of the TV box (MK902) and reopen or reinstall it, it is as if it locks the application. I tried, enable and disable every option in xbmc, but so far after 2 weeks it is still does it now and then.

    What can I do?
Should I install the launcher version? Or maybe is there something that conflicts with it?

    Thanks in advanced!

Unable to backup BXBMC on MK902 with the XBMC Backup App, the internet connection fails and it does not backup entirely.

It isn't recommended to install the launcher version for several reasons which have all been covered many times in the main Beyond XBMC thread.... one of which is it can't read/write to the internal sd card area because that area isn't available during the bootup of the device... it is a special build made by request.

The backup isn't made to write to the internet... it's made to write to the internal memory, an add-on sd card or an attached hard drive. The location it uses is the one you've configured in the add-on

Thanks, but maybe you didn't understand, but when xbmc is backing up, I see how the internet icon disappears, and I am not using the launcher edition

Beyond XBMC doesn't have an internet icon but it can/does list your devices ip address in some places.... I think you may be referring to your system bar which is a ROM thing not an BXBMC item/function that can show the WiFi connection state and if so... that isn't related to BXBMC and if it disappearing... I have no idea why about that issue

You have to clean reinstall the rom

I installed the new 4.4 kit kat rom on my MK902, everything working fine, only thing I noticed that 720 & 1080 videos play delayed on BXBMC and the A/V output sends only audio to the TV
