Measy A2W Miracast TV vs. Tronsmart T1000 Miracast

I do hope this is the right place to post this topic?

I simply want to mirror from my android tablet to lcd tv.

I was thinking the Tronsmart T1000 was the way to go, and then saw the Measy A2W's for sale as well.

From what I understand (very little and need help), there appears to be no difference on either for mirroring purposes, although the Measy appears a cheaper buy.

Can anyone tell me if one is better than the other, as I have to source these from Shenzhen etc to Australia. The google chromecast is also not available in Au, and has to be shipped in, but as far as I know, it cannot do mirroring yet, and neither can the MK 808 devices (as far as I know) do mirroring either.

Actually they use the same software, the function is basic the same.
however, the tronsmart t1000 use the external wifi adapter. so you can get better wifi singlas, and for miracast, you can get better performance also.

Because of assist, I will buy via Geekbuying..

On this page, can you advise that the wall adapter is the right voltage one to suit this dongle, in case I have a problem with my power from TV's usb port.

any usb power adapter should be ok, the 5v/1a or 5v/2a. if you have a usb power adapter for your cellphone, then you can use that. no need to buy another one. but most of the people will use the tv usb port

I received the tronsmart T1000 the other day from geekbuying...very prompt service indeed.

I have had it going sending video, photo's, etc that are stored on my Samsung Galaxy Tab Note 10.1 ( via Ezcast 2), but cannot get it to mirror my tablet, or even play live internet to the tv.

Each time I connect ezcast to the tronsmart, it knocks out my wireless connection to the internet.

I must be missing something very basic, but cannot figure it out yet.

If there are any users with suggestions, I am all ears.

The T1000 creates it's own wifi hotspot. You connect your tablet to that not your house wifi. Then using the tablet you connect the T1000 to your home wifi.

It has seemed I have bought the tronsmart without realising the incapabilities of my tablets, a Hisense Sero Pro and A Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.

Neither will screen mirror due to limitations.

It seems the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. will only mirror with an allshare cast....highly over priced

The Sero Pro is stuck on 4.2.1 which does not support screen mirroring...no support from Hisense.

I have googled for answers, all to no avail so far.

It seems a pity that 2 newish tablets both have their limitations. I should have paid more attention to this prior to getting the tronsmart by the look of it.

Yes, I can use it ok for playing video, music, web browsing or the like, but the use it was intended for, screen mirror, is no good on these units.
