pipo m9 max pro broken screen

I accidentally drop my pipo tablet and got a crack screen. Half of the screen is not working.

Does anyone know where I can get replacement screen?

How difficult it is to do it yourself?

How about connect directly to TV via HDMI and use bluetooth keyboard and mouse or one of those Minix remote controller?

Hi - I think pipo will sell you a replacement screen, they have a face book page - if you ask on there they get back to you very quickly.

as for installing the screen, that could be tricky, I've replaced screens in laptops no problem but tablets can be quite tricky. Let me see what info I can find for you.

FYI - the price of the screen is not cheap & if you have to pay someone to install it your probably looking at the price of a new pipo tablet!!! Believe me I've looked into it before & that's being able to install the screen myself!!

has the glass smashed? Or just half the screen stopped working? If not smashed it could be the cable has come loose joining the board to the screen. Easy to check this.


lastly, your comment about turning it into a tv box is a great idea, if my screen broke that's what I would do, I use my tablet often in this way - install XBMC and you got one very very cool system, although a bit slow.

lastly you could sell/ give me the broken tab, I am starting to do work on hardware mods . But I think for you turning the broken item into a tv box is a good idea.

ps I recommend bluetooth rather than 2.4g mice as not all 2.4 mice are compatible and require the otg cable

10.1 inch touch screen retail at 80$ i see on aliexpress, you must know the part no. before seaching. ask pipo
