Why is 1080p so, so poor on these???

I just got one of these devices, flashed over a 1080p kernel and getting around 40fps for XBMC.

Why?.... I really just don't get it. The stock speed is supposedly 600mhz, yet my dual core mk808 running the same GPU at 433mhz is getting roughly 60fps at 1080p?

I know these devices had issues with video performances, but it seriously can't even do 60fps on XBMC?

Any rom, flashed them all. Any of Sams OC kernels.

Any XBMC, nightly, Gotham of Beyond, take your pick.

I see GPU overclocking is broken, but I would love to know what the stock speed is, Epic Citadel is also benchmarking less than my mk808.
