    Arnova 80b

    hi all,

    This is a RK3188 quad core with 8" model 80b is there any rom that i can apply to it.

      ADB shell should be root.

      You could flash a custom recovery, and after a root zip.
      if [ $up.post.type = $type.two.lazy.to_use_google ] || [ $up.post.type = $type.silly_question ];
      then mv $user.contact.up.post /.trash; set response($response.type = ignore);
      $user.up.post.ignore_in_future = true; fi;

            The simplest way is with Framaroot. Just download and install it.
            If that doesn't work, i have bash script that should root it but it requires a ADB connection. Here

            If you want to try a custom recovery look in here, i'm sure i can help you and if you give a little time i can mod you a Rom.

              Obrigado amigo este fim de semana já testo.

              I'm going to try this on the weekend. Btw this tab i own is a Qilive 8qc wich is a archos 80b rebranded i do have archos rom and tried to burn it using it like an update.zip inside root diretory but no deal.
              Is it possible to do anything more, or it's more safe just to do a rom dump from the tab?

                  It's always best to have a backup Rom so that you can revert back in case something goes bad. You have here a nice How-to. After that is accomplish you can do pretty much everything, and you don't need root.

                    The farmaroot didn't go.
                    The recovery sounds good and i was already thinking on that or even cmwn .
                    The root idea is for taking off all the garbage inside the tab and even worse is full of sheety publicity.
                    That's the reason for root and even change something on the freqs

                      I have root access now

                      I managed to have access root using vroot i know it's a chinese crap but it worked.
                      Also to get this qilive 8qc tablet in flash mode i only have to push volume+ button when powering up.
                      Now i'm getting it's rom using Finless tuto on http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ew-RK-2-1-tool
