Bought MK808B, Everything works well except the video, it does not work smoothly slows down,
already downloaded by 40 different drivers they all hang on the logo or even on the run.
Turned firmware MK808B Finless 2.1 substituted in their firmware files
System.img, kernel1080, boot1080, Video was going fine but disappeared WiFI, Bluetooth works.

Купил себе MK808B,Все работает хорошо кроме видео, оно работает не плавно тормозит,
скачал уже под 40 разных прошивок они все зависаю на логотипе или вообще на запускаются.
Получилось с прошивкой MK808B Finless 2.1 подменил в своей прошивке файлы
System, kernel1080, boot1080, Видео стало идти отлично но пропал WiFI, блютус работает.

Помогите доработать прошивку с MK808B Finless 2.1 чтоб работал wifi.

You got MK808 clone, you have to flash proper kernel for your WiFi chip ...

You can use the stock kernel with finless 2.1
Should have a heat stick over the rockchip and flashs, to avoid overheating...

I have read on the forum a possible solution posted by mo123 that you can TRY, but I cannot guarantee anything. This just elaborates on what witch suggested above:

1. Use this tool to split your stock rom.img file into seperate files.

2. Download Finless BOB rom, unzip it & go to the FinlessRom folder where you will see boot.img, kernel.img & system.img.

3. Copy the kernel.img file created in step 1 from the temp folder of the app to the folder in step 2, name must be kernel.img.

4. Flash Finless rom with FinlessFlashtool v1.35 and you will have wifi & probably bluetooth too.

Maybe you already tried this? I'm not sure because I don't really understand what you meant when you said "Turned firmware MK808B Finless 2.1 substituted in their firmware files".

Don't forget, if you are playing videos with MX Player, you should get the ARM7 neon codec for it and configure it as mo123 suggested:

Also download the neon codec for MXPlayer from Google Play Store.
Change H/W Audio Playback to Software Audio Playback in Video Decoder in Settings.
Also make sure you have a custom rom with libstagefright to enable H/W+ in MXPlayer Settings and play videos in H/W+ mode by clicking on H/W at the top of the screen when video is playing.

The only thing I can think to suggest is to re-flash your original ROM, then look on the forum for information / download link for the newest libstagefright.

I am pretty sure you are using the "R-Box" clone of MK808B. I have no idea if it includes libstagefright or not, but in another thread someone said that they were able to flash Lewy's minix 4.1 ROM to it and WiFi was working, but slow --- this problem with slow wifi happened to me when I used the same ROM, and I have original mk808b (not R-Box version). I don't know if it's possible to add ap 6210 wifi driver to finless 2.1 ---- I feel like if it was possible, Finless would have done it already, but I don't really know. I think Leolas posted some info about adding drivers to ROMs http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...RK3066-devices but again, I don't know for sure if it's possible.

edit: Is your original ROM android 4.1 or 4.2? I just found this info posted by mo123:

On Android 4.2 all the libstagefright*.so files have to be updated.
Android 4.2 Nov rom has newer libstagefright files but they are not compatible with Android 4.1 roms.

Did you flash the stock kernel of your stock roma to finlles 2.1( finless 2.1 is a 4.2 android). But if your stock rom is android 4.1 then you need to you to flash a custom rom which is 4.1 and your stock kernel, than the wifi should work...

I read today on 4PDA that MK808 kernels aren't interchangeable on Android 4.2 like they were are on 4.1

At least I think that's what PauS is saying --- I don't know Russian, I just used Google Translate.

- классическим МК808 считается девайс с процессором RK3066 и модулем вайфай: RK901.
- так вот выпускаются ли МК808 с такой конфигурацией ещё сейчас неизвестно...
- ранние МК808В шли с модулями вайфай/блюпуп RK903, мт5931...
а вот в последнее время МК808В идут с модулем AP6210
так вот прошивки МК808 и МК808В с модулями RK901, RK903 и мт5931 почти взаимозаменяемые, т.е. они отличаются только kernel.img... для разных модулей вайфая должны быть свои родные ядра... остальное можно брать практически от любых прошивок девайсов на процессоре RK3066 а не только от МК808...
но даже если взять ядро от другого модуля вайфая, МК808 будет запускаться и работать с ним, но конечно же вайфай работать не будет...


всё вышеописанное справедливо для андроида 4.1.х... а вот для андроида 4.2.х уже совместимость намного хуже... это уже как повезёт


и насколько я знаю (может и ошибаюсь... но не сильно) новые МК808В с модулем AP6210 оказались ещё более капризными... их прошивки практически не совместимы с другими...

You need to take the kernel from your stock rom and flash it to finless...
