( Q) Looking to get a android tv box

Right now im looking at these 2.

I have no clue on what Chipset i want but these Amlogic ones seem ok i guess ?

Im looking for good product support by manufacturer and the community. ( So which one looks like it will be better to get ? )

I plan on useing it for XBMC alot So how is the compatibility on these type of chips ? ( Seems only the beta supports them ? )

Or should i just look into a different chip ? there seems to be a few.

    Thanks for any help

The reason im looking at these cause well i really want 2 GB of ram and kitkat for around 100.

Are the other boxes with different chips on par with that price range ?

An what are the best chips for performance and muti tasking ?

And one more thing Emulators an Roms, Plan on playing alot of those. Should those be ok With a bluetooth controller or something with Dpad/ joysticks ?

Amlogic quads seems great at paper, but they are so new, I suggest you wait a little to take them.

definitely, it took me a lot of research before i ended up with the X7, i lowered my expectations when i bought it and was quite surprised by it, but all of that due to the community.

AMLogic needs to think good before they make RK users switch, we are now way more prepared and way more greedy regarding features.

        http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...RST-PRICE-INFO!

It has tons of NEED TO KNOW info in it about the speed of the chipset, status of the ROM, and features.
Keep in mind it has already been proven that the chip is lacking Dolby AC3/DTS pass through. They do state a better chip that does pass through is available but not being built into these.

If you don't mind stereo sound in your movies then the both models will do you well and the choice is more on aesthetics than anything else.
