T-R42 PROBLEMS

I have T-R42 (S/N: T_R42xxxxxxxxxx), with original rom and unrooted, for one week and I have several problems:

1. Wifi download speed is 0,4MB. When I restart my device DL speed is 7-8mb, but after 2 minutes speed drops to 0.4mb and stays down there.

2. Device keep unmounting internal storage. Then I have to go to setting and mounted back. This does for no reason.

Please help me with ideas. Thank you

Under the device are 4 rubber-pads, if you re-move the rubber
There are screws.. to open-up-the-box

You need to open up your device to find out what wifi chipset you have. Once you know the chipset number you could flash some of the very nice custom rom from this site and very possible it will help your issues. I used to have storage disconnected and after flashing the 1.2.4 wasser rom, my issue resolved. I don't have issue with Wifi either with stock or custom rom so possible the compatibility with your router, to figure this out try another router from your family or friends' house. Finally, you could open up your device without breaking your warranty since there's no "seal tape" to indicate that you opened it.

I tried to connect to my 3g network(phone set as router) and I get same result, max 0,42Mbps. Strange thing is that T-R42 download speed is 7Mbps after reeboot, but after 2 minutes drops to 0,42Mbps, every time :-(

I reason I recommended to go to someone else house is to eliminate issue with frequency interference. Possible there's interference of some sort in your house and the device. This is usually the case with speed degrading. Also try go into wifi advance and check minimize wifi battery see if it make any differences (lack of power supply). Also try flash Wasser 1.2.4 since I found it's the best rom/kernel to date with our T-R42.

ok I will try to connect device at another place. But I think this is not the problem, because Wifi works exellent for 2min and then drops to 0,42.

I will try with 1.2.4 and we will see if problem with wifi is resolve.

I opened case and I have V2.0.

I had original rom and I install Wasser rom 1.2.5 but without kernel. Now i have "no signal" when I connect device to TV. :-(

On this webpage from link are all Rom that has B351 BT V2.0 for T-R42?

You have no signal as you have not flashed kernel
You need to choose a boot kernel, 720p or 1080p. Then you need to use the T-R42 New kernel for kernel img then Flash. I have B351 v2.0 and wasser 1.2.5 works great. Wifi too

Edit. No need to flash all firmware again. Just load the T-R42 New kernel and flash that file only. Your box then should give you signal on TV
