pipo m6 differences? and wifi chipset

Can anyone confirm the only hardware difference between the Pipo M6 and the M6-Pro is the wifi/comms module? And if possible save me the trouble of prising the M6 open telling me what wifi chip-set the M6/M6-Max uses?
Since Pipo seem not to be overly interested in the M6 i'm looking into the feasibility of building a kernel myself for 4.x.

The main difference between Pipo M6 and M6pro:

- M6 pro has the GPS module (not present for M6)
- M6pro Wifi/bt module is AP6476 (that for M6pro it is also responsible for GPS) and for the M6 it is AP6330
- M6pro speakers are a lot louder
