1011 model-facebook app(didn't download from market had apk),and or, facebook in a browser work fine.
wifi works fine,i will say i had to reboot about 4 times before wifi began working.
i put vtl launcher(tablet specific launcher)and,disabled rotation,which i do on all my android devices(i don't like it).
i use an app called rotation locker, which is a manual rotation method, and
the tablet's almost uptown now.
i removed almost all nextbook apps of any kind.

Great Job and wifi just fine
Just finally was able to test drive ICS and so far I love it. Now for a little rundown:
1. The quote by Abe on start up now stays long enough to read, lol.
2. Wifi. I installed using an old laptop with USB 1. Knowing it would take a while, I stared it going and went to clean the hot tub. About a 1/2 hour later it was sitting there with a network wizard of some sort on the screen. I picked it up, the screen reorientated and it disappeared. I went connnections, fired wifi and it hooked right up. Maybe those with problems should try to let it sit for a while on install?
3. Start up time is fast and the rom seems pretty stripped for stock.
4. Not enough time to give feedback on battery life.
5. Titanium backup. I CAN'T GET IT TO RECOGNIZE MY BACKUP FILE ON MY SD CARD. I have done all the tricks I know. Resets, clear cache and data, un-install, check for errors on sd card. Does anyone have a suggestion? I can't give it a real shake down until I get my apps installed.
So far I like ICS and thanks to bob and Josh for the great work.

UPDATE: Titanium is looking in the internal sd for the backup files. I just have to figure out how to make it look in the external sd.

Time to update. Overall if I find no fewer bugs than I have so for I won't be going back to ginger anytime soon. ICS is a giant step forward in the user control department. So here goes:
1. 1211
2. Battery life. I started out with 70% about 10 hours ago. I've mucked steady with it for about 4 hours and for 3 hours the screen was set to stay on. I have 19% battery left. Seems about the same as Bobs 1.5.
3. Backup restore. It's been a pain. Got titanium working fine, but some of my programs, mainly kids games, are not ics compliant. It's locks up the batch restore and I have to reset. In the end I had to do a couple at a time. No important programs had a problem.
4. Bugs. Some over lap on the bottom bar when you have a lot going in portrait. Just turn and shut down notice to solve.
Swype keyboard won't go into landscape.
General learning curve,lol.
5. Plus'. Just about everything! The interface is just plain fabulous. All the bottom buttons work and even do cool things they didn't before. I love the widget access in the programs screen.
Again this is a keeper. Thanks Bob.

Works great on my 0911 Thanks Joshendy for dumping your rom and Big Thanks to Finless for rooting the rom.
Wifi, sound, and touch keys work right after flashing no reboot required.
Battery life is the same as gingerbread version about 5.5 -7 hours (didn't watch videos on youtube)
I got to say I love the added development tools in ics .Specifically show touches (np7 still only supports 5 contact spots tho).
The current kernel supports firewalls (net-filter) big plus for me(not supported with previous 2.3.1 kernel).
The GUI for ics or this version is a little confusing compared to previous gingerbread. Toolbar is now at the bottom of the screen leaving the top 1/4 of the screen unusable for widgets and shortcutsand the app menu bar is located in the top corner.
Also interesting flaw in the slide lockscreen. If you have a program that shows in the notification area you can click the icon which open the notification list and then just click the item and it opens the app. Then closed the app and your at the desktop/homescreen without ever unlocking the screen.
--note: this only works with the slide lock as the rest were designed more secure.
I used it for 2 days and ended up reverting back to Finless's v1.4 0911 test rom because of app support. I would love to see this as ext4 if it wasn't already made into it.
Keep up the great work Finless!

I love ICS, but my have hit a real deal buster and need some help. It seems the ICS storage system is a little different and won't allow programs like titanium write to your SD card.
There its a fix were you write to your permission list to allow it. I have tried 7 ways too Sunday and all it does is break my wifi and I have to reflash to fix.
The problem may be that before you write too permissions it say to make sure rw is mounted. What does that mean and has anyone fixed this problem?
Thanks for any help.

I can confirm that it works on the older next7p... great to see ics on my device but....
It was hella cool running ics on my next7p but i noticed some glaring issues that make it not that usable and make me want to stick to GB.
- Many of the UI's are either squished over overflowing and don't fit right
- Tablet apps that i know exist don't show as option and even worse apps that worked before and that work on my ics nexus are blocked
- Device ran far hotter with ics
- ADB is busted on their compile (could be due to their usb host mode hack)
- Hacky external sd implimentation that don't work with most apps
Just my 5cents (canada is dumping the penny so cant say 2cents LOL) i'm glad that its option atleast
PS. Here is fix for the calendar issue.. http://www.mediafire.com/?l8mycpzmt88pqpc (it took me hours to find the aosp calendar files for iml74k)

Go in Titanium backup settings and choose backup folder it has scan option and will find it on external sd.

If your SD card has errors it will get mounted by Android as read only! This is not just an ICS problem.
Plug your SDcard into a windows PC and do a disk check and let it fix them. This is a very common problem with sdcards and Android. See my post here about it:
http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...Understand-WHY!

"Прости им, они не ведают, что творят"
"Perdona loro perché non sanno quello che fanno"
"Vergib ihnen, denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun"
"Vergeef hen want ze weten niet wat ze doen"
"Pardonne-leur car ils ne savent pas ce qu'ils font"
"Perdónalos porque no saben que lo que hacen"
"Oprosti im, jer ne znaju što čine"
