Can't turn off X7 screen dimming

Hi everyone,

I am having trouble with the X7 screen saver, even though it is turned of in XBMC it continues to dim the screen when there is a darkish scene on the screen, it even does this in portions of the XBMC menu. Is there another android screen saver setting that I'm missing?

This is usually a setting in your TV! Most TV's have this set by default.

You were right - I eventually tracked the problem to an obscure setting on my Sony TV. It was the "advanced contrast enhancer", (whatever that is).
