Help with MK808B, incompatible version?

To get better video playback without installing a custom rom I suggest you root your device and use a cpu app to increase the minimum frequency to 800mhz active. I also removed my live wallpaper and used the stock launcher. Mx video player and xbmc play almost all my videos perfectly , HDvideos still lag a little but nothing like before. So far I'm really happy with my purchase, though I wish I had bought a genuine device, live an learn.

Have either of you gotten xbmc to work properly without audio and video drifting out of sync?

I've never experienced any audio lag with either mx player or xbmc. they did drop frames but there was never any lag to the audio. I used the stock settings for both media players and they work great. My MK808B isn't connected to the Internet but I do stream from a hard drive attached to my laptop and it works pretty well (except for hd movies) so I haven't felt the need to mess with the wifi antenna.

I have a clone, I used (root master 1.3.6 app) it's in Chinese I think, but there's a YouTube video showing how it works.

For anyone with this device that's interested, I found a good combo to flash for this device that allows YouTube videos to work fine, as well as browser streaming videos.

Download Johnoo's backup image from this post:

Flash everything from his backup, except for system.img.

Download Snakekiller's 4.2.2 Rikomagic Snakerom from this post:

Use only the system.img from this rom, and flash this system.img at the same time with everything else from Johnoo's backup. The result? Wifi, working youtube, etc. It seems to be stable so far but I haven't had time to do too much testing yet.

Thanks to Johnoo and Snakekiller for providing the files. Hopefully this is able to help someone.

now everything is good... now my problem is fix mi signal of wifi
