Wow, this was what I was hoping for. I have a ATV1220 with a built in atsc tuner, and hope this will work. I tried doing this a couple of weeks ago using the directions for the RK3188, but wiped out my firmware. Could you be a little more specific on the instructions. I used the instructions for the RK3188 and had to copy files do different folders. I am excited about getting this to work on my amlogic box

    thanks

I really appreciate you helping me with this. My device is rooted, and I created folders using your readme file, but I get errors that say failed permission denied.
here is a screen shot of the error message.

        copy dvb folder to data
        mkdir /sdcard/.hts
        mkdir /dev/dvb/adapter0
        ln -s /dev/dvb0.frontend0 /dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0
        ln -s /dev/dvb0.demux0 /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
        ln -s /dev/dvb0.dvr0 /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0
        ln -s /dev/dvb0.dvr0 /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0.ts
        mkdir /dev/dvb/adapter1
        ln -s /dev/dvb1.frontend0 /dev/dvb/adapter1/frontend0
        ln -s /dev/dvb1.demux0 /dev/dvb/adapter1/demux0
        ln -s /dev/dvb1.dvr0 /dev/dvb/adapter1/dvr0
        ln -s /dev/dvb1.dvr0 /dev/dvb/adapter1/dvr0.ts
        chmod 777 /sdcard/.hts
        chmod 777 /dev/dvb*
        /data/dvb/tvheadend -C -c /sdcard/.hts
        open explorer write 127.0.0.1:8891

Ok, I copied and pasted the information from your read me file, and here is what the terminal shows. I then typed in 127.0.0.1:9981, but website not found.

          thanks again for your help

When I type 127.0.0.1:9981 in the android explorer, I get "website not found". Also, you said it did not find my built in tuner, that is a bummer.
              thanks for your help

                another atv1220 owner

Hi! Do you have any news on this subject?

I followed taki instructions and think that got it to work. I can access web ui on 127.0.0.1:9981. It seems to recognise my tuner but can't scan channels. I get the following error: Mar 29 19:39:26 dvb: "/dev/dvb/adapter0" tuning to "482,000 kHz" -- Front configuration failed -- Bad file number, frequency: 482000000

I have search on tvheadend forums but got nothing. Any ideas?
