MK902 KITKAT Testing files.

Ok just Thought it was time to get the Thread started on Kitkat for the mk902- below is the files that DD3, noderat and others have been working on and saved all a lot of times as files complied and patched already.

The ap6210 is the wifi and bluetooth for the MK902, as well a lot of reading needed as kitkat boot loader and programs all different from jellybean so learning curve yet again for me ( breaking out the rye later )

please try and add files that help on making this possible on the MK902. i will Test as anything comes up but
Keep in mind my hobby and not my real job so i testing for people that have asked and trying to run shop and not have an x wife (as i dont want to spend that much) if i dont respond for a day or two just im me as just means i am busy not that iam not interested in helping with your problem.

ok boot loader has to be flashed and if you want to back to jelly bean you have to load the boot loader for the rom your re installing, good to know, if loading without the new kitkat loader you will brick the box. again good to know. if you read you will find everything need thats proof its here on site...... testing has started my home work is done lmao..... flashed one already and boots and runs now to test one built for the mk902. Thanks neomode dd3,jdefence, bob and all the others that provided me with my reading material for the last week ;0

ok i got to boot with the oc kernels that bob provided but got a few weird things happening, first off doesnt fully boot, it hangs at boot screen with i unplug the device it stays on ????? and if i plug the power back in it loads the next selectlanguage screen i unpluged again and it did same just stayed on??? then i tried with d33 hd kernel no boot,

the blue led inside the box doesnt come on it the kit kat kernel at all. ill keep testing booted back to 4.2 and had some loading issues but nowits running again. thought i bricked it but seems fine now,

This says 3188T our box has 3188 are there differences in the firmware?

it should work on ours some issues with switching kernels that D33 is testing and already reported back needs work but its a new release So testers needed. for our box lots others already have kitkat running with few issues on their boxes already we need to start getting info back to DD3 and others that helps the Mk902.

Hmm. Okay, what about the geekbuy KK link, i have a GP apk so i can install that manually on the KK i reckon? That download is taking ages though.

Nice. To bad its less then 720p. I don't get it they advertise Full HD 1080p but out of box its 720p.

No camera, no spdif, and I feel it slower than jb. Is not for mk902, but for a similar device. The best is that they (rockchip) will update this devices to kitkat, but for now, kitkat roms are all betas in tv box or sticks, for tablets are better, with not 100% working, the most stable and useful ones for me are the ones modded by Bob with d33 kernels, but they have some problems yet.
