Ampe A86 - wifi wont work

Okay bare with me i am not good at this. I bought this tablet for my son who LOVES IT, but his brother thought it would be funny to keep trying the password til the tablet locked and we couldn't get it unlocked. So I paid this company $40 to do a reset, which they did but then the WIFI didn't work, they said it wasn't them and that it must have been from before. I knew it was working cause if it wasn't i sure would have know via my son's displeasure. So went to the next person who said no it was something missing (drivers) in the firmware for the website and the it was not available. He then said if i bought another one that he could clone it. So off to **** i go and i though i bought another one. It turns out one is a Ampe A85 and the other is a Ampe A86 so no cloning.

I still want to have the WIFI fixed on the Ampe A86

Has anyone out there heard of this or might be able to send me a file that could help.

Dear Tazmerialda,

the most secure way to get your WiFi back to work is to flash a Factory Rom back to your tablet.

Just google for "AMPE A86 Firmware" and try to get a download link for a "Stock" ROM.

There are also many other Custom ROMs out there and even here in the forum which might solve your problem.

If you are not familiar with the flashing tools also please use google for proper installation instructions.

P.S: If you dont find any stock ROM you can also try this CM10.1 build from here Omas CM10.1
It must be flashed together with your Kernel from here Ampe A86 Kernel
