Does anyone have a back up of xbmc to download fully loaded with addons, I am new to this, so please don't shoot me down if this is not the done thing, I know lots of guys on **** and other sites sell these sticks and boxes loaded with h latest addons.

There's some Minix version of XBMC with preloaded addons (Beyond XBMC) but I saw many users using last nightly builds or Beta of XBMC recently (even more with those who installed beta pre010b).
I think that there's some addons that won't work on X7 so you should try to find a X7 backup of XBMC.
I'm not using XBMC myself so I can't help more than that
