Flashing OC Kernels to MINIX 010b?

This questions probably been asked a hundred times and I probably already know the answer, haven't messed with my X7 or CX-919 in a while to even try and remember tbh, just wondered if I could flash an over clocked kernel to the stock MINIX 010b beta or not, hate having an under clocked device, although in all honesty I have been pleasantly surprised at how well this beta 2 from MINIX is performing, its rooted using Bobs extremely simple update.zip method, if so is there a kernel someone could recommend? Would really like to get my antutu scores back up to 21k+ as at 18.5k ATM - or should I just wait for that finless 1.9 once the official stock 010 drops?! Bob?!

On the stock Minix x7 firmware (010b) the kernel.img is embedded in the boot.img. It takes some work in a linux environment to split the boot.img into kernel.img and boot.img. This is the preferred way by most devs as only the kernel needs flashing so its easier to try different kernel builds rather than just oc'd.
It looks to me like the above links provides some patched boot.img's (done with pjandersons patchomatic tool which is very good by the way) which the kernel is basically inside.
IMHO the ddr shouldn't be set higher than 720mhz on the x7 but others may disagree. Also the 1900mhz+ clock is crazy and will shorten the x7's lifespan.
