What's pound for pound the most powerful Android TV box available on the market now?

I was set to buy a Android box last year, but then I read that a new crop of Android TV boxes would be coming out soon in 2014 that would blow away the current crop of set top boxes.

It's April now, are they out yet?

I'm looking for a Android box that is the latest & most up to date & can handle high encoded 50GB 1080p videos from a external hard drive.

Typing in "android tv box" on Amazon & the results only show the older TV boxes from last year. I'm not seeing any of the new ones on there anywhere.
