Is there a Finless ROM for K-R42?

I have just got a mk908ii and a K-R42. The mk908ii has been flashed with a few finless roms and I have found one that I am happy with.

The problem I'm having is I have tried all of the lewy and wasser roms and none are of any use to me:

Lewy 1.2.0= No boot
Lewy 2.0.3 = No boot
Lewy 2.0.4 = No boot
Lewy 3.2f = No boot
Lewy justxbmc = Boots but can't get past the startup page as the mouse and ir remote don't function.
Wasser 0.92 = Boots but can't get past the startup page as the mouse and ir remote don't function.

So as you can see, my box isn't bricked but is as useless as one. I am out of options.
Finless seems to be a much better bet but I can't find a finless rom on here for my device. Does anyone know of a combination of finless I can use to be able to get some functionality back to my box?

Hi,

To figure out what firmware/kernel works for your unit
We first need to know.. what version/revision you have.. this is done by opening the unit
And then looking at the pcb/motherboard

Note.. to open-up the unit
There are screws under need the rubber-pads of your unit

Thanks, it is a Q7 it says K-R42 on the box but it has bluetooth, the insides are the same as the picture as well. I put the stock rom back onto it until I find one that works. XBMC frodo has the micro frame skipping issue, and unusually gotham and beyond xbmc are even worse and unwatchable. Does the box have to be rooted for xbmc to take advantage of the GPU in beyond and gotham?
