    the best firmware ever!!!!

the new launcher is amazing, xbmc 13 beta 2 runs smoothly, playing movies 1080p no lagging, no stuttering even with 15Gb files over wifi.
Stable wifi, full support of ugoos remote control....
Skype ( latest version ) running stable with full support of logitech c170, c270 and microsoft v8000 webcams, video and audio are perfect.

with this firmware my ugoos has become the ultimate media centre..

running 24/7 for almost 2 weeks now and not even one reboot. no overclocking, just rooted.

I am not sure about DTS and passthrough, I dont have the equipment to test it, I think XBMC 13 has the ability of passthrough so i guess it depends on the kernel, maybe it needs some patched dll.....i dont know!!

what I do know, is that after trying all the available ROMS for UT1 and MINIX, this is the best firmware I have ever tried on UT1 and I am sticking with it!!

Has anyone else here been running this?

I've had it installed for about a week and it seems OK, however I have had 3 crashes and for some reason the screen scale resets on each reboot, which is very frustrating.

Any suggestions on how this can be remedied would be appreciated.

...and yes , DTS passthrough works.

I keep losing mac addresses and how do you change the kernel on this? I mean can I use the custom flash tool? KitKat has a new boot loader.

No problems whatsoever with screen scaling or anything else....
My only problem is that i get some buffering when i have my 500Gb hard connected via powered hub to UT1. The movie is 12Gb big but still i find it very strange to buffer when it is playing from a local media...

I wouldn't change the kernel (there are some KitKat kernels around from the UT1) because i get 100% support for my webcam. No other kernel had so good support webcams.

The kernel is provided by the same team. But I still lose Ethernet Mac address after boot. I flashed cwm for kitkat and then the kernel. Shame cos it's fine other wise.
