Mk 908 II Frame Skip Fix ?

I want to know if there is just a small fix for the frame skipping issue on this stick while streaming vids from the net using xbmc / mashup addon ?

Do i need to flash the device or is there a simple fix for this issue ?

You could possibly get away with flashing just the kernel from one of the custom roms but you might as well flash the full custom rom - Finless 1.5a is a good 4.2.2 one although there is a 1.6 which i have not tried myself, personally im using the Finless 2.0 A928 4.4 rom with D33 v3.0 kernels, runs very smooth - xbmc 1080p etc - you need to work out if you have a T chip or not as the D33 kernels are seperate for each version, wont do any damage flashing the wrong one -just wont boot. The wifi chip in the mk908ii is ap6210
