yarvik tab 465 custom rom !!!!!

my new tablet is now yarvik tab 465 exxa 9.7 inch
8gig and 1gig ddr3 ram.

ok finally after several roms testing i found a verry good one.
everythings works ok.
this is only when you bought your tablet after 2012/03/25 because the upgraded versions use visture v3.
sow if people flashed there tablet and the hardware buttons won't work correct any more (like back button not working) ,than you are here on the right place .

in this rom is google play baked in .

Changelog
* V 1.4
- built from allwinner's sources (baseband 1.2)
- usb bluetooth dongle support: btusb and ath3k (I haven't tested it because my dongle uses btusb kernel module, testers needed). Google and see if your dongle is supported by one of these drivers
- added some kernel modules: xpad (for x360 gamepads), pl2303 (for usb gps receivers) and tun (for openvpn)
- replaced wifi kernel module with one built by me and without some power save functions (let's see if throughput and reception improves)

this tablet don't use hardware buttons for boot in recovery, sow you need NOVO7 TOOLS. to reboot in cwm recovery.
if you are in cwm recovery theres no GO BACK option in the menu.
but now problem scroll down in the menu and than scroll up again to enable go back in the menu, see the video how it works.

- how install cwm recovery to tablet.

set display sleep to 30 minutes.
click now on Install-CWM-Recovery.bat on your pc.
type Y to install.
after finishing installation press any key .
tablet reboots now.
you have now cwm recovery installed succesfully.

- now install NOVO7 TOOLS for rebooting the tablet to recovery.

- once in cwm recovery enable first the go back in the menu see video for how.
- now do factory reset first in cwm.
- now install zip. (pwn3d v1.4)
- after installing '' NOT REBOOT '' the tablet click on '' go back '' in the menu
- now take install zip again and install visture v3 now.
- after installing is ok reboot and enjoy.

Instructions

* Upload zips to MicroSD or internal memory.
* Boot into CWM with novotools7
* Select "wipe data/factory reset"
* Select "install zip from sdcard" -> "choose zip from sdcard" (or "choose zip from internal sdcard" if your files are into internal memory) and flash, in this order, rom / gapps / compatibility zip
* Now go back, and select "Reboot system now"
* Enjoy cm9

Note: when you update to a newer build you don't need to do a full wipe, you just have to wipe cache and dalvik cache

I like the CM9 because of performance, but I realize a lot of freezes and random reboots. I am not able to play angry birds. It crashes.

I installed so many different versions and combinations - but none worked really fine until now. I try now the 15/06 release - hopping this one runs smooth.

I tried also to run without compatibility and changing the gsenor file in the system/lib but no change.

What is your experience ?

search in google for pwnd 1.4 rom
i use this rom now and is amazing i have 32 games no on it

I played around the different govenors. Default is SmartassV2. I changed it to Fantasy, which seems to work much more stable. I still have some strange reboots - but much less. My CPU speed was until now 1006Mhz. I will now test with 960Mhz - if this increases stability.

Please try the Game "Killer Bean Unleashed" and "angry birds" - both tend to reboot / drop completely.

Can you post your performance settings ? What about zRam settings ?

I installed the the pwnd 1.4 rom. Which V3 Compatibility are you installing ? You had in your original post a "Visture for pwnd 1.4" - this works but the sound buttons do not work

I also realized that the google store shows less apps than with cyanogen. Any idea ?

Do you know which governor is used in the pwnd ? The CPU says 1.2 Mhz - which surprises me.
