[HW MOD] Replacing RK3188T with original RK3188

So after a lot of reading about limitations of T version I decided to try and replace it with original, non-T chip. I ordered one on aliexpress for ~$23. It comes already with soldering balls on it.

To perform this operation I used this magic tool

Well done on getting it to work, but why anybody would do this now with the T kernels unlocked I have no idea. It's not $23 worth of exta performance by a long shot, maybe $5.

    Edit: Actually not even $5

I completely agree with you. I ordered this CPU when T model still was locked. So I made it just for fun
One small benefit - this one can be overclocked now up to 1920Mhz

The main thing is it worked for you, would of been a nightmare if it didn't and then was unlocked
