KitKat for CS968
Here is the link for the 4.4.2 rom for the CS968 https://www.dropbox.com/sh/uwhgr3lnhjrjzq4/Fu0tfcWHeh. This rom is not rooted and it is 720p, not 1080p. So far it seems very stable. It does not sync my calendar with my google accounts, which I miss. Same for contacts, not sync'd. The latest XBMC does not passthrough Dolby Digital, but other players do. If someone can point me in the direction on how to root kitkat, I would appreciate it.
thanks

Disconnected device from tv and connected to computer. Vroot still could not detect device. Tried different usb ports on the device and computer, still not detected. Just for the heck of it, I thought I would try my older LG smart phone. Set up usb debug settings and connected to computer. VRoot found the phone and did it's thing and when it was complete, the program said my phone had "root". To verify that my phone indeed had root, I downloaded root checker. when I ran the root checker, it said my phone did NOT have root. Soo, I can conclude that VRoot does not work on some devices, at least not mine.

Note, it's different from how to install ROM, in this (Rooting) you need power supply, keep the tv and pc nearby to see if device rebooting, (i click the .bat command after i click "connect to pc"), before pressing "space bar", again click "connect to pc" then follow the instruction..,
