[s802] Tronsmart Vega s89 supports the anymote protocol! Use GoogleTV Remote App!

I was looking through my DMESG and I discovered that anymote support is included in this ROM. It works perfectly with Google TV remote app! This is great news because the AMLogic remote app is pretty terrible.

    Have fun everyone!

Very pleased with it myself, and there are a multitude of possibilities with this.

Sent from my mobile device. Please excuse any typos.

This might be cool for a few places in the world, but Google play tells me that thus app is not available in my country (germany)... Is there any chance to get it from somewhere else?

Thanks for this hint. I am a little too Google centric from time to time

Got my copy from http://www.apkcraft.com/download/google-tv-remote/ since apbrain just links back to Google...

              Excellent

Works much better than the native app.

I installed Google TV remote on my phone, but it can't find anything to connect... How do I pair them up?

                Thanks!

All i did is make sure TV Box is on, started the app , it tried to 2 times to pair , bottom button of connect google tv you need to press, then it comes up with onscreen paircode on the tv.

Do I need to install the remote app (or anything else) on the Vega also? BTW, i'm running Finless 1.6.

No, just the app and make sure your phone is connected to wireless network.

                      I use 1.6 also

My VPN is breaking. If I disable VPN, it works fine.
