Need help installing custom kernel

Feel a bit of a fool here

I have flashed many devices using various tools like cwm twrp using zip format, but installing one of bob's roms for the A928 (mine is mk908ii) i needed to install one of d33's kernels but i am lost !!

Rom is installed but no wifi, how does one install just a kernel ???

There are two main app for flash:

Batchtool witch flash file containning all need files (zip)
Flashtool witch flash file independably (.img + parameter etc)

In flashtool select only kernel (mark box left) and select the desire file with the right ... box (kernel.img)
