So, now I also think it is an isolated problem, maybe also like the DTS HD issues a problem with the A/V-Receiver and/or the used codecs at the movie-files... do you also try the direct way without your A/V-Receiver (maybe without audio but only to have a look at the video problem and the crashes at only using libstagefright) means box via HDMI cable at TV?
I have 2 more logs with the setting "only enabled libstagefright".
The first one is opening a 720p tv show file....this works

The second one is opening a 1080p tv-show file....box crashed at the same point as with the movie file before

With amcoded enabled, no problems at all (except the stuttering)...Last edited by spot0915; 06 June 2014, 23:16.

As soon as I deactivate the media codec (only enabled libstagefright) the 720p files play again.
As soon as I activate amcoded together with libstagefright ALL movies play.
Don´t think it has anything to do with the audio.
Most of these files are "regular" DTS or DD (no HD Audio) and the AVR recognises the Signal correct and displays DTS or DD as soon as the files play...

I did what you suggested, disabled subtitles and apply as default during working method while watching a movie, but I still get the errors in the log like
- 21:57:33 T:1843352792 ERROR: CCurlFile::Exists - Failed: Access denied to remote resource(9) for ftp://USER:[email protected]:21/Volume_2/02-Filme/The Sixth Sense/subtitle/
21:57:33 T:1843352792 ERROR: CCurlFile::Exists - Failed: Access denied to remote resource(9) for ftp://USER:[email protected]:21/Volume_2/02-Filme/The Sixth Sense/cd1/
Of course it can´t access the folder "/subtitle/" beneath the movie folder as there are no subtitle folders on my disks at all as I don´t use subtitles...
however I don´t think this has anything to do with the box crashes while using libstagefright only as I have these errors also when the file plays fine with amcodec enabled.
I don´t have these errors with tv show files though, only with movie files.

I had the display setting to 1080 60hz anyway already
Box still crashes on every 1080p file with "libstagefright" only....720p files still play fine.
As soon as amcodec is back enabled, all files play...
So the AVR has nothing to do with the problem...

However, I checked the logs afterwards and I still have these errors, however these subtitle errors appear in the log pretty much directly after choosing the video file...seems to be the first action in the log to search for subtitles...no idea why as I have disabled them for all movies...

Tv shows don't look for these subs....at least the ones I tested....will do more research tomorrow...
thanks again for your help even if it's a bit OT now :-)
