CS918S Firmware 2MP & 5MP

Recently i got the CS918S however the firmware comes with it is s**t, so i was looking for firmware that can work with this box and all what i can find is for the same box same name but for 5mp camera only

After days of searching and testing found the link for the firmware for the 2 box's

For the CS918S 1GB 8GB and 2MP camera please use 200W=

CSQ918S-200W-EN-032410.rar

And if you have CS918S 2GB 16GB and 5MP camera please use CSQ918S-500W-EN-032410.rar

the only deference is the MBOX launcher that comes with 500W the rest are the same

i find this box match better then K-r42 and cs918 with this frimware now i can play the 1080P and 3D with XBMC no problems

Yes and did, just remove the already installed one and install 12.3 frodo from xbmc website

please don't change the out put display in setup that will not make any deference.

The firmware is for 2g ram

If thats a reply to my msg... i was talking about 1gb or 2gb install/apk space (not ram)
-example
--2gb internal nand (apk install space)
--10gb internal sdcard/nand (data)
--32gb external sdcard

Im still running stock with root and tweaked abit..
-but i would update if kitkat would be released

If I am not mistaken, there is a newer version. I have downloaded and installed this version, CSQ918S-500W-EN-040611.img. In the "about" section, it says it is version April 6, 2014. This is for the 5meg camera version. It is a 720p rom, but it is very, very stable.

Interesting, my CS918s shows version 1.2,but build number dated April 6. I downloaded it from the Chinese website.
