    Wifi Connection problem

    Hi guys.

I looked for answer many of topic at that forum but I don't found any.

I have device B351 V2.0 (T-R42?) and I tried I think most of ROMs from that forum, and most of them wont work correctly (device wont start, wifi not running etc.), bus some are great! I was used ROMs from Lewy, and now I install a new wesser ROM from KitKat 4.4.2 (version 0,95 - works very fast!). But on each one I have the same problem. Speed of internet connections are fine in first one-two hours (full speed of internet connection). After that my connection speed falls down, and I have nearly 8kB/s. This is problem with my device? Maybe with setting in my internet router? I don't have any idea.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I read about that are some chances with noise of wifi signal from TV, speakers etc. I tried to make some shield from aluminium for that device, but that won't helped. Helped one thing only - trying to keep device far from TV. But this not so easy in my room. Someone maybe has same problem and has a solution for that issue?

Hello. I had same problem with all ROM's. I solve my problem by booting into recovery and wipe to factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache. Then I reboot device and problem was solved.

Let me me know if It works for you.

I tried a few times what you suggest in different combinations of wiping. These actions also not helped me. Anyone has some other suggestion?

Exactly the same with the stock firmware. I get typically around 10M at first, then "something" happens and it drops down to 300-500k. If I disconnect and reconnect the speed is restored.

I emailed Geekbuying as this a new box, but haven't had a reply yet.

I'd considered flashing the Wasser Kitkat ROM, but your post implies that this wouldn't help.

Kinda pissed off because the box is pretty much unusable in this state, unless I go and buy power line Ethernet adaptors.

Did you try it with my solution (go to CWM and do factory reset and wipe all you can wipe)?

That was going to be my next step. I resurrected an old Edimax router as an AP. It isn't any closer to the T-R42, and the signal strength is similar to the original AP, BUT it seems to have fixed the problem. Maybe this model has a flaky wifi chip. I have a Q7 in another room which gets double the speed. Go figure.

Anyway, the box is usable now. Thanks for taking the trouble to reply - much appreciated
