Does anyone know if you can still load 3rd party software on a new Pivos Xios? I have tried two and neither one reboots after loading working software from other Pivos Xios's. The guy that sold them no longer sells them.

I was running a Linux program firmware loader that got me a lot of movies.

Pivos Xios

Sounds like Linux XBMC with add ons. Have you tried flashing it with the firmware and loader on the Pivos site? Also do you get any error messages or indications on screen? Thanks.

Also check if you are loading the right version M1 or M3 for your device.

m1 =512 MB memory
M3 = 1 GB
m1 =900 MHz cpu
M3 =1000 MHz

I have M3 but was told they changed the hardware recently so people can't get the movies on XBMC.

The free TV and movies are add-ons in XMBC. You can try loading earlier firmware to see if it resolves your issue or setup fusion as a data source to install the add-ons for you for Pivos.
