S82 firmware has been updated (XBMC support Dolby & DTS)

Flashed beelink 101K4.
- Boot animation (static) is "google TV" - why?
- xbmc gotham RC1 version (I uninstalled this and put gotham final in there)
- Rooted it
All seems fine.

Cannot test 5GHz because I don't have 5Ghz AP. Anybody can confirm this is working?

1) Uninstalled the RC1 on new ROM (I guess you did that else you won't be able to install final.)
2) Install Gotham Final.
3) Restored a backup done with XBMC backup addon (done before ROM update). You think this has a influence?

What is the codecs in the settings?

did steps 1 & 2 - step 3 did not do as it was fresh gothem tried to play movie from mashups and all i got the sound only.

also which codec i gather the default of xbmc

All my movies seem ok so far...
Maybe just try a different file?
But still just check the settings and make sure video is HW and set to the amlogic codecs...

They did mention on the XBMC site there were android problems with the initial release and re-uploaded on sunday. everbody that downloaded before that should re-download...

Yes you have to flash the Elite ROM emthod with 8GB flash and 6210 wifi module.

Just remind me exactly which one you talking about now? Like my edited post above? Then yes it have the Elite specific patch inside. You'll find the actual zips to flash + readme inside this zip.

To get your box to the latest fw :
1)
For FW Load the 101K4 version here (Read instructions!):

Root your box with :

Then uninstall the XBMC app (its RC1 in 101K4) and install XBMC gotham final (ARM Android) :http://xbmc.org/download/

Hi Lokie, that site also has an S82 firmware for 6210 wifi chipset dated 11th of May - 6 days newer than the other firmwares.. so I'm curious what is new / fixed in the 11th May firmware.

hopefully we'll all have 102k4 firmware to test / play with soon anyway.
