Does the Vega support external usb drives?

thanks for the info Lokie - my 2x Beelink devices will be delivered on Monday (today is a holiday, otherwise they would have been delivered today ).

May I please ask if you can easily test if the Beelink / Tronsmart devices can write files to an NTFS formatted USB HDD?

One of the devices will be a gift and I know if I can set up a torrent or usenet client on it so they can save files to a USB HDD it would be very useful.

Ok will do tonight when I get back home. I only have a 1TB external usb driver but 2tb should be the same. Wil get back to you

Thats good news i just ordered the standard box last night looks like it wont get shipped till the 30th im really hoping a lot of the bugs can get worked out of the rom before i recieve mine.

Don't worry, guys, we will try our best to ship out your orders before the China Labor Day holiday( 1st May to 3rd May).

awesome.. so it writes fine to USB HDDs formatted as NTFS - that means I can configure one Beelink as a usenet or torrent downloading device for my friend, so she can then download her own TV shows and I do not need to do it for her

No... Readonly. I did test for ntfs write but fails. Read works fine @ 11.5 mbs with 1TB WD elements drive

I believe paragon helps with that, not sure though.

Thanks for that. Disappointing there is no NTFS write support - there are android apps to work around that, but having kernal support for NTFS write as well as CIFS/NFS support would be extremely nice kernal additions (in future). LAter on, DVBT device support would be a bonus
