    ROOT| Minix Neo X7 Stock Firmwares 008+

    Hi,
So, after searching a lot and unable to root the stock minix neo o7 FW, I found a little help with google and managed to finally root my device successfully.

    So here are the steps:
    1. download: Minix Neo X7 Root Pack & Drivers By nirh216
(This pack includes the Drivers for x86 & x64, And RootPack Made by me)

1.1 Install the Minix drivers if you haven't done so until now.

    2. Go to Settings -> About device -> Click 7 times on "Build Number"

    3. Now you are "developers".. Go to Developer options -> tick USB debugging (ON).

    4. Go to Storage -> click the 3 Vertical dots (upper right) -> USB computer connection, select Mass Storage.

    5. Go to USB -> tick Connect to PC.
Important, AFTER EVERY reboot, you need to repeat step 5 BEFORE continue!

    6. run the file: Minix_Neo_X7 Root_By_nirh216.exe

Follow the instructions. run the app: Super SU and update binaries and app. Enjoy with rooted Minix!

    searched hard or hardly searched

Finless Bob made a 'update.zip' root package. AFAIK it works on pretty much any rk3188 device providing it contains the standard signature which minix has used on its x7.

My advice look harder on FreakTab bro! The folk on here know their shit...
