Which device uses what wireless chip?

With the release of KitKat and new roms/kernels on different MK3188 devices I am confused what will work with which rom or kernel.

Has any one complied a list of hardware compatibility? I have a MK908 (I think v3). It is not a T type. Does it have the AP6210 chip? If not what chip? How can I tell? Do I have to crack it open?

All mk908 have ap6210, but v3 needs different kernel. There is version of KK for v3.
