[T-R42 v.2] Full HD (1080p) via network

I have an external HD attached to my router, serving as a NAS on a Gigabit LAN.
Playing Full-HD movies in 1080p works flawless on my notebook and on my chromecast.
On my T-R42 II (Android 4.2.2, rooted, no custom rom, connected via ethernet) its has to buffer every 30 sec. 720p works. When I connect the HD directly to the Box it also works.

I use MX Player + Codec for playback (SW and HW+ doesnt works for playback, just HW).
Any sugestions that could fix it?
Maybe a custom rom?

You should test over 100mbps cable because sometimes gigabit router is not works well with boxes. I had the same problem with my k-r42 / glitched xbox360 and another media player based on linux.
